Habitat Management

Habitat Management Works

Habitat management works are required at many development sites across the UK, to various extents and in a variety of forms. Sensitive habitat management is often required to implement planning conditions, mitigation strategies or method statements or may form an intricate part of a Natural England / Natural Resources Wales Mitigation (development) licence. A regular regime of habitat management works may also be required to maintain public amenity space, increase biodiversity on conservation land or prevent ‘banked’ development land becoming a haven for wildlife.  Focus Ecology are well placed to assist you with any requirements for implementation of habitat works.
