We are currently recruiting for an Arboricultural Surveyor to join our team. You will work on a range of projects across the UK, requiring a mix of field and office-based skills.  We can offer the successful candidate a full-time contract with generous remuneration and benefits package.

ARBORICULTURAL SURVEYOR POSITION:

The Role:

An exciting and challenging opportunity awaits a self-motivated, organised and flexible individual to work within a growing consultancy business. The role will suit an experienced Arboricultural Surveyor, who will play a crucial role in leading this new arm of the consultancy.

You will be expected to work closely alongside your colleagues in order to ensure tasks are undertaken on time and to a consistently high standard. The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Person Specification:

> Relevant Degree / Foundation Degree or Diploma/Certificate (to Level 3 or above) with at least 3 years surveying experience.

> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

> Proficient in tree and key fungal species identification and knowledge.

> Thorough understanding of BS 5837 and BS 3998. Able to complete projects from field to office.

> Previous practical use of GIS-based software for tree mapping and assessment.

> Excellent project delivery and project management skills.

> Commercial awareness with the ability to work independently and within a team.

> High level of attention to detail.

> A positive outlook and strong desire to succeed in your chosen profession.

> Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
